NZD/USD rebounds off 0.8000 barrier
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The NZD/USD has extended its intraweek downside Thursday, falling even lower and finding strong support near the 0.8000 barrier (0.8006).
At the time of writing, the NZD/USD is slightly above its lows, but still deeply entrenched in negative territory at 0.8038/41. Later tonight at 22:45 GMT, New Zealand will reveal several trade balance and import/export statistics for the month of April.
In these moments the pair has incurred a loss of -0.23% Wednesday. Technically speaking, Mataf.net analysts point to supportive means for the NZD/USD at 0.7982, onto 0.7922, and ultimately 0.7810. Conversely, a break above the 0.8154 handle will initiate resistance at 0.8266 and 0.8326.
