Analysts at Nomura offered their outlook for the USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 45 pips lower than the previous fix (6.5162 from 6.5207) and 17 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.5179. The basket implied change is 20 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.5159 from 6.5179)."
